The Agency Dashboard provides quick links to frequently accessed content and contact details. 

Insured activity is featured front and center to help you understand your customers and their preferences. 

  1. Login Activity
    1. IPFS believes that by sharing valuable insured activity, you can understand which insureds are digitally adopting ipfs.com features.
    2. How many insureds are logging in, how often they log in.
  1. Payment Activity
    1. The type of payments made helps you understand your insured preferences.
  2. Communication
    1. Understanding the number of insureds setup on eForms, cancellation warning by email, and cancellation warning by text, can impact your cancellations and the time spent managing them.
    2. Encourage your insureds to sign up for eForms and the cancellation warnings as they have been proven to decrease cancellations in your book of business.

 

What is the difference between an active and inactive account?What is the difference between an active and inactive account? 

  1. Active accounts are your existing accounts that have payments remaining or are in collections with money due.
  2. Inactive accounts are accounts that have no payments remaining, are not in collections (zero balance) or have been charged off.

Select the radio button for Inactive Accounts on the Account Status screen - They are also available in Inactive Quotes and Loans from the quote screen.

 

Why would I need to access an inactive account?Why would I need to access an inactive account?

Inactive accounts also include rescinded accounts. If an account has been rescinded, you can create a copy to genereate the new account if necessary.

To find a paid off account or an account that has a zero balance for greater than 30 days.

Choose the Column Preferences button. 

  • If you want to edit your filter default [Insured] choose the new default first.
  • Checked columns will display in the view.
  • Drag and drop to re-order columns.

Apply the view and choose Save Preferences

 

 

 

The Search defaults to Insured, can I search by other items?The Search defaults to Insured, can I search by other items?

You can search by Account #, Customer #, Insured, Status, Payment Remaining and Down Payment. The default is Insured.

Choose a different default filter prior to selecting the Column Preferences button to change the default.

 

How do I update a policy number on an account?How do I update a policy number on an account?

Search for and then choose the account number to go to the Account Details. Select the Policies Tab and then choose the policy number.

The policy number is submitted to IPFS electronically and once updated in our internal systems, it will flow back into the policy number field.

  1. This process can take up to 15 minutes to complete.

Search for the account in Account Status, and select Due Now.

The Acknowledgment outlines commitments for treating all customers in fair and equitable manner, this is not only a regulatory requirement, but is a good business practice. Preventing discrimination and protecting a customer’s information is something that you probably already do every day, as do we, and acknowledging those commitments to our customers is simply a regulatory formality.

 

The complete IPFS™ Fair Lending, Information Security, and Privacy Compliance Acknowledgement is available in the lower right corner once logged into the home page.

 

The acknowledgement popup will display upon login until Accept is clicked. Scroll down through the poicy to choose Accept.

 

Can I prevent an account from cancelling if I know my insured has sent in a payment?Can I prevent an account from cancelling if I know my insured has sent in a payment?

Yes, the Hold feature on the account details allows you to set a number of days, within parameters,  to hold the cancellation process.
