Account Detail and Management

Accounts can be filtered to meet your individual workflow. The filter defaults to insured name and starts with, but this criteria can be changed.

 

Associated Entity is available when working with multiple logins. Choose the entity to work with from the dropdown. Note: some dropdowns include ALL entities to view data across all locations.

  1. Edit your filter default [Insured]. Before editing column preferences choose a new default. (if preferred).
  2. To get started, choose the columns to display and the order by using the Column Preferences button. 
    1. Checked columns will display in the view.
    2. Drag and Drop to re-order columns.
    3. Save Preferences will hold the settings for future logins.
    4. Reset Preferences will return settings to the defaults.
  3. Enter your search criteria without special characters (.)(,)(&)(-)Enter your search criteria without special characters (.)(,)(&)(-)

    • Account numbers include the letter and number
    • Policy number or customer number.
    • Insured searches feature Starts with and Contains.
    • Status has a dropdown selector.
    • Payments Remaining are < > = and Paid Off
    • Down Payment addresses how it was paid, Agent or Insured
  4. Choose the Acct# link to access the Account Details.

 

 

 

Search Results 

 

 

  1. Acct# field displays the full account number that when selected redirects you to the account details.
  2. Policy number field displays what is in IPFS systems. When selected you are taken to the account details Policy tab where you can update the number.  Updating Policy Numbers.pdf
    1. If PENDING, it is critical to update so the policy number is available in the event an account cancels for non payment.  
  3. INVOICE pulls up a current invoice.
  4. Insured Online - the green dot means the insured has registered on ipfs.com.
  5. PAY NOW allows you to make a payment on the account.
  6. DUE NOW details the full amount due including any outstanding fees and you can calculate a payoff amount.
    Eligible Cancel Date field is populated with ELIGIBLE when the account is past due or delinquent, but not yet canceled. You can request a "hold" on the account, if available, to allow time for the payment to be sent in and prevent cancellation.
  7. AutoPay Method field allows you to initiate AutoPay setup and track the status of AutoPay.  Choose the  to download an Insured guide on setting up AutoPay.
  8. Down Payment displays the method of payment used for the down payment.
