What are the different Quote types?What are the different Quote types?

  1. New Quotes are for insureds that have not done business with IPFS in the past.
  2. Renewal Quotes are for insureds who have done business with IPFS in the past and are coming up for renewal the next year. 
  3. Additional Premium (AP) Quotes  are created when you want to increase the premium on an existing policy within a premium finance agreement. They can also be created to add a new policy premium to an Premium Finance Agreement.

 

When can I create a Renewal Quote?When can I create a Renewal Quote?

  1. The account is in good standing and does not already have a renewal accepted by IPFS.
  2. The remaining policy months must be less than 4 months prior to expiration date or 10 months after expiration date.
  3. The account must have been accepted between 8 and 26 months ago.
  4. Insurance Companies and General Agents must be in good standing.
  5. Coverage type must be eligible for selection from drop down.
  6. Quote interval is not periodic.

If an IPFS TotalPay(TM) program is used and the quote does not contain policy details (Pay in full only) the option to pay in full on renewal is available, with the minimum amount financed criteria waived.

  1. Any active account with at least 3 payments left.
  2. The account was accepted 30 minutes prior to the current time.

IPFS TotalPay Customers

  1. For paid in full accounts the AP must be paid in full.
  2. For premium financed accounts the AP can be financed or paid in full.

Yes, as this impacts the return premium in the event of cancellation. Fees are typically non refundable.

In the Quote Status - The DP Paid column will have a date and the DP Type column will list ACH / CC.

In the Quote Status Screen action column, choose the ellipsis and then 'Email Again'.

In the Quote Status Screen Action Column choose the ellipsis and View PFA.

 

Why can't I view the PFA?Why can't I view the PFA?

  1. When a quote is outside the agreed upon parameters, an exception is sent to the Account Executive for review. The Quote status will display the pending exception.
  2. The PFA will be available once that agreement is underwritten and released by the Account Executive.  You will be notified by email.
